FAQ

Auto body

How long will you have my vehicle?

There are many factors as to how long we will have your vehicle in the shop. (Paint cure time, Parts delivery schedules, Insurance adjustments, etc.) Due to these many factors we can’t give an exact date at the time you drop off your vehicle.

Why does my bumper look a different color from the rest of the car?

Bumpers, trim, and other items on cars are plastic while your body parts are metal. This results in a slightly different look.

When can I wash my vehicle?

Your paint is fully cured at the time of delivery. However we suggest waiting at least one week till you wash your vehicle and to avoid any automatic car washes.

Detailing

How long will you have my vehicle?

In most cases we will have your vehicle for one working day. In the chance you elect to have any additional services done we may have your vehicle longer.

How often should I wash my vehicle to keep it clean?

This really comes down to how dirty your vehicle gets and the conditions in which you’re driving in. For example if you’re driving in salt and snow a lot we would suggest weekly washing the vehicle to keep all salt from corroding the vehicle. Now If you’re driving in sunny and dry conditions we would suggest just a monthly wash.

Is it safe to use an automatic car wash?

We have found it is safe to use the touchless car washes. However if you have any aftermarket parts the high pressure can put a lot of stress on parts like spoilers, splitters, ground effects, etc. As for the automatic car washes that aren’t touchless we suggest staying away from them at all cost. We’ve seen everything from damaged paint to broken parts as a result of using these car washes.
